The Government of India has been increasingly making concerted efforts to build business parterships with the Central Europe region. In pursuance of this, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, in collaboration with our apex Chamber viz. Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has organized two successfull India-Central Europe Business Forum in March 2014 and October 2015, with participation of business CEOs, key policy makers, senior representatives of Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as representatives of Think-Tanks and entrepreneurs from SMEs sector.
This Forum is quickly turning into a platform for business community to initiate and build relationships based on mutual complementarity and 'win-win'. The Forum has received whole-hearted support from all stakeholders, both in India and in Central Europe.
The third edition of the Forum, in a revised format of 'India – Europe 29 Business Forum (IE29BF)', will be organized in New Delhi on 8-9 December 2016. The Forum shall endeavour to build on the business connects and gains from the first two editions by way of :
- Strategic collaborations between Indian and Central European industries;
- Fresh discussions on specific business opportunities;
- Information on markets;
- Identification and choice of cooperation activities for broader business;
- Building new partnerships and strengthening existing ones.
The focus sectors of IE29BF will be skills development, life sciences, IT & ITES, highend manufacturing, infrastructure development with special focus on smart cities, clean technology, renewable energy, auto & auto components, agro and food processing and logistics.
